CAREER OPPORTUNITY: DATA ANALYTICS MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Manager who doesn't just read numbers, someone who can see through the data, spot opportunities, and uncover problems before they surface.

In our rapidly growing business, data isn't just important, it's everything. Every decision, from player experience to Product Development to Finance, is powered by insights. We need a strategic thinker who can transform complex data into clarity and drive real business impact.

As our data expert, and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be the trusted advisor across the business, turning raw data into the insights that shape our strategy. You'll build the frameworks, dashboards, and experimentation culture that keep us ahead in a competitive market.

Your experience in SQL, Python, and BI platforms will uncover the patterns others miss. You will lead initiatives that directly influence player engagement, retention, and revenue, while mentoring a high-performing team to do the same.

This is  definitely not a reporting role. This is about thinking critically, challenging assumptions, and delivering the "so what" that drives action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership of BI Initiatives: Spearhead the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and experimentation frameworks that empower the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. Scale experimentation efforts, including A/B testing, to continually refine and optimize user experience, game features, and business outcomes.

Insight Generation & Data Transformation: Utilize advanced SQL, Python, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to analyze data from MySQL, Oracle, and cloud databases. Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights tailored to various stakeholders including the executive leadership.

Player Behavior & Business Impact Analysis: Lead initiatives to understand how player support experiences influence broader player behaviors such as engagement, retention, and monetization. Use these insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer support improvements.

Experimentation & Optimization Frameworks: Establish and scale a company-wide experimentation framework, encouraging cross-functional collaboration on A/B testing to optimize customer journeys, enhance game performance, and increase revenue.

Data Infrastructure & Quality Assurance: Manage and maintain robust BI reporting platforms, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Implement governance standards to uphold data privacy, security, and compliance across all analytics activities.

Dashboard & Report Development: Design stakeholder-centric dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into key metrics. Enable teams to quickly interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Team Development & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BI team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, best practices, and innovation. Oversee analytics projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Partner with business units, operations, and leadership to align analytics initiatives with strategic priorities. Communicate complex findings through compelling storytelling, facilitating data literacy across the organization.

Industry & Market Insights: Stay abreast of trends in the iGaming industry, including emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, to inform analytics strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

CANDIDATE PROFILE - REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience at Management/Senior Management level in data analytics, business intelligence, and insights generation are crucial. 
  • Experience in the iGaming or Sports Betting sectors or high-volume digital entertainment is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring BI teams, managing complex analytics projects, and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
  • Technical expertise in SQL (MySQL, Oracle), Python, and familiar with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, statistical functions) and data analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and technical teams to define requirements and interpret complex results.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to influence across functions in a matrix environment, demonstrating adaptability and leadership.
  • Passion for innovation, data-driven culture, and a deep interest in the evolving landscape of iGaming and entertainment.
