• Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of accounting records in compliance with IFRS.

  • Support timely reporting to meet Group standards and deadlines.

• Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

  • Monitor actual performance against budget and report variances.

• Accounting Operations

  • Supervise preparation of payments, receipt vouchers, bank deposits, and cash registers.

  • Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations on a timely basis.

  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper capitalization/depreciation.

  • Follow up on night audit work and verify daily revenue postings.

  • Monitor accounts receivables and payables, ensuring timely collection and settlement.

• Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure proper and timely filing of statutory returns to regulatory bodies.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist with internal and external audit processes and provide required documentation.

• Other Duties

  • Monitor cash balances and support relationships with banks.

  • Carry out other cognate accounting duties as may be assigned.
