Unicorn (MSJ LTD) is recruiting Dispenser.

The Dispenser will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and professional requirements. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality service and health advice to our patients and customers.

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Check prescription details for clarity and legality, and refer to the pharmacist when necessary.
• Label and package medications appropriately, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy protocols.
• Provide advice and information to customers on the safe use of prescribed and over-the-counter medications, within your scope of practice.
• Maintain stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical products correctly.
• Ensure expiry dates and stock rotation are monitored to reduce waste and ensure product safety.
• Operate the pharmacy till and handle payments, refunds, and transactions with accuracy.
• Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and secure, following infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support the pharmacist in delivering pharmacy services such as medicine use reviews, health screenings, or vaccinations.
• Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including data protection, confidentiality, and GPhC guidelines.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including filing prescriptions, managing patient records, and liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
