Job Summary:
Maintains storeroom in accordance to standards and rotates stock accordingly. Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures. Conducts monthly inventories.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures all merchandise delivered to storerooms has been properly received and documented
- Stores all merchandise delivered and update inventory systems
- Conducts physical inventories of the storerooms and prepares Requisitions or food & beverage lists to bring items up to par stock levels. Submits these to the F&B Cost controller for approval
- Assist in the daily operation of food storeroom, properly stores and rotates all stock so that all items are fresh; involves transportation of heavy goods
- Fill requisitions so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low and out-of-stock so that they can be reordered
- Assists in conducting month-end inventories
- Completes properly authorized Requisitions from departments and issues goods in time and updating of daily issues in the inventory systems
- Maintains neatness and cleanliness in all storage areas on a daily basis
- Ensures that all storeroom accounting and security procedures are being complied with at all times
- Monitoring of stock rotation to be done on daily basis
- Managing and controlling the stock levels
- Making standing order for fast moving items
- Ensure a good relationship is maintained with all the departments.
- Performs other department-oriented duties as instructed by department head
- Ensures HACCP regulations are followed at all times
About You:
The ideal candidate should have at least a high school certificate. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience managing a storekeeper function in an International Ultra-Luxury Resort. and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French. The candidate should have the knowledge of the appropriate stock levels for any given item kept in inventory and the amount of time the item will be fresh. The candidate should have basic mathematical skills necessary to track and receive specific volume deliveries and the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry items up to 20 lbs, overhead or otherwise, move or push goods on a hand cart/truck with reasonable weight to the extent of avoiding physical injury to self and/or other employees. Goods must be moved (one or more items at a time), depending on size and weight at a continuous schedule.
