Waiter / Waitress / Barman
MAIN DUTIES
Welcome members/guests and provide a high standard of service in the F&B outlets
Contribute globally to members/guesst satisfaction through the quality of his/her work and exemplary behavior
To set up tables and do mise-en-place related to food and beverages requirements
To pick up food and beverages at the respective preparation areas and deliver as and when required at F&B outlets
Serving drinks and snacks to members/guests
Monitor Bar transaction
Checks stock levels of the bar, prepare requisitions and ensure that they are supplied on time
Presents bill to members and ensure that they are signed or paid and post same on the system
Properly utilise all the materials and equipment made available to the bar and performs inventories
Ensure that closing down procedures are followed
Neatly displays bottles and polished glasses on shelves as instructed
Ensure cleanliness of furniture, fixtures and equipment in respective bar
To maintain clean and tidy areas, including storage areas and equipments used during his/her work shift
Must be ready to work early morning, morning or evening shifts, on Sundays or Public Holidays
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Form 3 education
Minimum 2 years experience in the same field
Fluent in English and French minimum
Acceptable Qualifications from Hotel School (NC3 / NC4) – Restaurant/Bar
Dynamic and motivated
Willing to learn
Team worker
Must be pleasant, smiling and charming
Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
Personal Qualities: Organisational Skills, Planning and good communication.
Must be willing to learn standards and abide by rules and regulations in place
Must have good values and polite manners
Must be extrovert
Grooming: must be well groomed, piercings not allowed on duty
Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
