We are currently seeking a Trainee Engineer to join our After-Sales Service team. You will work alongside a dedicated team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, from vehicle maintenance to technical troubleshooting. As a Trainee Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic and innovative fields of engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Assist in overseeing daily after-sales operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to customers, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Problem Solving & Attention to Detail: Analyse technical issues related to vehicles, identifying deficiencies and developing effective solutions. Your sharp problem-solving skills will be crucial in this role.
• Collaborative Communication: Effectively communicate with service technicians, management, and external suppliers, ensuring that problems are clearly understood and resolved efficiently.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and concise technical reports and documentation regarding customer issues, solutions provided, and any additional service requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Technical Inspections: Assist in evaluating automotive systems such as engine components, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools. Understand and assist in the design and development of new methodologies and tools to improve service efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Eligible for registration with the Council of Registered Professional Engineer in Mauritius.
• Proficiency in English and French for clear communication.
• Strong computer literacy to manage technical reports and systems.
• Organised, self-motivated, and a team player with a proactive attitude.
• Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills are a must for handling technical issues and diagnostics.
• Experience or interest in automotive systems and tools is an advantage.
• Patience and creativity in troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed effectively.
