To oversee the daily operations of the workshop and ensure the efficient management of loading zones, contributing to the smooth functioning of factory and refinery operations
Main duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise workshop personnel during both crop and intercrop seasons.
- Plan and coordinate daily workshop activities and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Participate actively in the Energy Management Team and support the implementation and upkeep of the Energy Management System (EnMS).
- Monitor and maintain all loading zone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Organise and oversee the collection of cane samples at various loading zones during crop season.
- Support the training and development of workshop staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, including conducting risk assessments and adhering to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
- Manage inventory and stock levels of workshop materials and tools.
- Monitor and record materials and labour usage for all works related to external clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diplome d'Université en Science et Technologies or similar technical certificate.
- 5 years experience in an industrial environment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience in leading personnel or teams.
- Week-end work and odd hours when applicable.
