Workshop Supervisor

To oversee the daily operations of the workshop and ensure the efficient management of loading zones, contributing to the smooth functioning of factory and refinery operations

 

Main duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise workshop personnel during both crop and intercrop seasons.
  • Plan and coordinate daily workshop activities and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Participate actively in the Energy Management Team and support the implementation and upkeep of the Energy Management System (EnMS).
  • Monitor and maintain all loading zone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Organise and oversee the collection of cane samples at various loading zones during crop season.
  • Support the training and development of workshop staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, including conducting risk assessments and adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels of workshop materials and tools.
  • Monitor and record materials and labour usage for all works related to external clients.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diplome d'Université en Science et Technologies or similar technical certificate.
  • 5 years experience in an industrial environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in leading personnel or teams.
  • Week-end work and odd hours when applicable.
