Welder Grade 1

We are seeking an experienced Welder Grade 1 to perform high-quality welding and fabrication works in the workshop and on-site, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with technical specifications.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Grade 1 to carry out high-quality welding and fabrication works both in the workshop and on-site. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting technical drawings, executing precise welding operations, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Arc, or other appropriate techniques.
• Assemble, fabricate, and repair metal structures and components.
• Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces before and after welding.
• Operate and maintain welding tools and equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Collaborate with other teams to support project requirements.
• Assist with on-site installation and repair works when required.

Candidate Profile:
• School Certificate (SC) or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate or vocational training in Welding or Metal Fabrication is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in welding within a manufacturing, construction, or metalwork environment.
• Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
