Web Developer – IoT Platforms (PHP & JavaScript) (Ecoasis)

we are seeking a hands-on developer to build and maintain backend/frontend logic using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML for IoT data dashboards. 
Collaborate with our designer and IoT engineer to integrate device data and support on-site installations, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities 

• Build and maintain backend services in PHP to collect and process IoT device data.
• Use JavaScript and jQuery to present data dynamically in user dashboards (frontend is already designed).
• Collaborate with the designer to bring static designs to life through functional, data-driven UI.
• Maintain and query MySQL databases.
• Support on-site IoT deployment and fieldwork with the engineering team when needed.
• Troubleshoot integration or data flow issues between web systems and connected devices.

Qualification and Skills 

• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/CSS.
• Good understanding of working with RESTful APIs and web-based communication.
• Familiarity with networking protocols.
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Ability to interpret and handle data coming from custom IoT backends.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems (Raspberry Pi, Ubuntu Server, etc.).
• Willingness to assist with on-site tasks and hardware integration.

Optional Skills 

• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with cross-platform app development (e.g. Flutter, React Native).
• Basic electronics knowledge (sensors, microcontrollers, basic wiring, power supply management).
• Version control systems (e.g. Git).
