Web Developer (2520-WDE)

Our client in the ICT sector is seeking to recruit a Web Developer who will report to the Web Development Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

Website Development:

• Manage the development projects (planning, task assignment, costs and deadlines).
• Define site objectives by analyzing clients' requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support in developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products.
• Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

Customer Focus:

• Manage the client's business relationship through feedback and ensure that the deliverables are meeting customer satisfaction.
• Propose updated solutions to clients and proactively conduct audits to optimize/increase the efficiency of their websites or any other value products.

Profiles:

• Diploma or Degree Holder in Digital Arts specialization in multimedia /Web and multimedia /Computer sciences /Computer engineering, Information systems, or any other programming development course.
• Knowledge of software architecture will be an advantage.
