Visual Content Officer

ROLE PURPOSE: The Visual Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality visual materials that elevate the image of BARNES Mauritius across all channels

WHAT'S IN FOR YOU:

• Organize and execute photoshoots and videoshoots of properties (interior and exterior)
• Capture lifestyle, regional, and neighborhood imagery across Mauritius to enrich brand storytelling
• Cover coperate events through photography / videography/ aerial content (Drone)
• Conduct professional photo editing and video post-production
• Produce short-form video content for social media, especially TikTok
• Assist with community management (Content creation, basic moderation)
• Execute basic graphic design tasks (layout design, formatting, resizing visuals) using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines
• Archive, categorize, and manage the content library

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or degree in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Photography, or a related field

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in content creation (Photo, Video, Design)

REQUIREMENT:

• Valid driving license

KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Ilustrator)
• Strong photography and videography skills
• Knowledge of framing, lighting, and storytelling techniques
• Basic community management (Social platforms, moderation)
• Graphic design fundamental (PAO, Resizing, Layout)

• Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively
