Underwriting Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learning and understanding company insurance products and underwriting processes.

• Issue policy documents and endorsements in line with underwriting decisions.

• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions, policies, and client interactions.

• Ensure all documentation is properly filed, updated, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements

• Ensure compliance with company standards, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth policy renewals and endorsements.

• Work closely with team members and other departments, such as claims, to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.

• Communicate effectively with customers and intermediaries for all underwriting matter.
