Reporting to the Finance Manager, the potential candidate will be responsible for Treasury, Credit and Risk Management at Total Mauritius Ltd.
Main Responsibilities
Treasury
- Administer treasury and cash management operations and develop strategies to boost efficiencies, preserve assets and minimize costs.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual cash flow forecasting.
- Manage and maintain the company’s global banking infrastructure.
- Oversee cash functions, as well as cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, bank transfers, fraud prevention, bank account setup and maintenance, together with bank relationship management.
- Coordinate cash forecasting and work with the bank's lending channels to ensure appropriate funding of the business lines.
- Identify treasury operations’ cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Manage appropriate procedures and processes around end of month activities.
- Ensure that monthly treasury reportings are done and submitted to Total Group’s Treasurer in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and optimize the foreign exchange results.
Credit and Risk Management
- Responsible for the processing of new customer accounts in accordance with Total’s credit Management procedures.
- Manage orders on hold and liaise with the different departments concerned regarding the release of orders.
- Review, on an annual basis, the Credit Limit of Customers
- Organise monthly credit committee meetings and coordinate all related action plans
- Ensure that bank guarantees are updated and take all necessary actions with Sales and Marketing team for the renewal of bank guarantees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a recognised qualification in Finance/Accounting.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in treasury management and/or banking is compulsory
- Prior experience in team management
- Understanding of financial statement drivers and performance indicators.
- Solid grasp of accounting concepts.
- Good presentation skills and communication skills.
- Strong analytic and MS Excel skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
