We are recruiting a Travel Designer!!!

Part of Harel Mallac Group, Itineris is a travel design agency which specialises in tailoring trips to one’s requirements. It is a member of I.A.T.A (International Air Travel Association) since 1993 and M.A.I.T.A (Mauritius Association of I.A.T.A Travel Agents). Itineris has been serving both individual and corporate customers since 1988, with a dedicated team and 24/7 support. Its services portfolio comprises of:

•  Air ticket reservation
• Accommodation booking
• Assistance with passport, visas and travel insurance
• Sales of holiday packages and group and escorted tours
• Cruise and pilgrimage packages

Job description:

• The Travel Designer will report to the Agency Manager and will:
• Assist in the development, promotion and selling of  packages to customers,
• Make flight reservations and issue air tickets by performing input of transactions on Amadeus / Galileo / websites,
• Make reservations of hotel accommodation, transfers, cruise, car rentals
• Prepare quotations, credit and debit memos for invoicing
• Ensure excellent relations with customers and other business partners
• Handle administrative duties,
• Follow up on all reservations and proposed packages with suppliers and customers,
• Create artworks for communication and digital marketing purposes
• Assist in the management of Itineris’ Facebook page.

Skills and competencies required:

The successful applicant must have a minimum of three years of experience in the Travel Industry and have a good knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo software. He/She should have good communications skills, should be a good team player and have proper knowledge of Microsoft Office like Word and PowerPoint.
