The Storekeeper, as a key operational support will coordinate with departments to fulfill requisitions, maintain optimal stock levels, and contribute to the smooth flow of daily operations.
Receive, inspect, and document all merchandise delivered to the storeroom.
Store and organize items systematically, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
Update inventory systems regularly and conduct physical stock counts to maintain accuracy.
Ensure proper rotation of stock using the FIFO method to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Issue goods to departments based on authorized requisitions and update inventory records accordingly.
Monitor stock levels daily, manage standing orders for fast-moving itemsand flag low/out-of-stock items.
Assist in month-end inventory processes and reporting.
Maintain security and accounting procedures within the storerooms.
Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Foster effective communication with all departments to support operational needs.
Report any incidents or accidents related to storeroom operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Department head.
Profile
Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in a storekeeping role, specifically within a 5-star Luxury Hotel.
High school certificate required; diploma or certification in Inventory/Store Management or Purchasing preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and French; additional languages are an asset.
Sound understanding of stock levels, shelf life and inventory rotation practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Results-driven and rigorous in following hotel control processes.
Physically capable of lifting and transporting goods (up to 20 lbs) and operating hand carts safely.
