We are looking to recruit a Transport Officer to manage the company’s fleet operations and ensure compliance with transport regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Renewal of road tax and vehicle fitness

  • Management of insurance claims and follow-up for new insurance policies

  • Planning and coordination of vehicle servicing, repairs, and fitness checks

  • Handling all NLTA matters, including license renewals and compliance for rally vehicles

  • Daily allocation of vehicles for staff transport and overtime requirements

  • Follow-up on vehicle breakdowns, including towing arrangements

  • Review and verification of transport subcontractor invoices

  • Follow-up on Engen card usage

  • Supervision of diesel refuelling in the yard and follow-up on fuel orders

  • Monitoring and reconciliation of petty cash related to transport

  • Follow-up on GPS tracking systems

  • Management of drivers and messengers

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport or fleet management

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance processes, and relevant regulations

  • Good organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Experience in supervising drivers and messengers

  • Familiarity with fleet management or GPS tracking systems is an advantage
