Temporary Laboratory Analyst

Terra Milling is engaging itself towards a modern laboratory and hence looking for an Temporary Lab Analyst to integrate its team. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with the newest state-of-the-art technologies and develop calibration correlations.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform test on factory intermediate products and sugar using the NIR.
  • Reference the test and record the spectrum.
  • Document results obtained from NIR and cross reference with results from WET analysis to build database.
  • Weekly database will be used for calibrating the equipment.
  • Study correlations after every calibration.
  • Report any discrepancies between results obtained through NIR and Wet Analysis.
  • Accountable for keeping the equipment in good condition, proper sampling and recording.
Candidate Profile: 
  • Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Food Science
  • Team player, organized and structured
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Methodic, meticulous and precise
  • Ability to deliver the highest quality work within the given deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and visio
  • Ability to work day and night shifts
  • Skilled in monitoring, interpretation and reporting of data
