The Telephone Operator is responsible for professionally answering and directing all incoming calls, handling guest or client inquiries, and providing prompt and courteous service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
Direct calls to appropriate departments or individuals.
Handle wake-up call requests (if applicable).
Provide general information to callers regarding services, facilities, and directions.
Record and relay messages accurately to the appropriate recipients.
Monitor emergency lines and immediately escalate urgent situations.
Assist in handling guest or client requests and complaints courteously.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Update and maintain internal contact lists and phone directories.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
