The Technology Lead holds a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions within the market.
This role ensures the seamless alignment between local business needs and global technology strategies while leading high-performing teams and nurturing collaborative partnerships across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Alignment
- Lead, mentor, and grow the market Technology team and partner network.
- Align technology initiatives with overarching business and global priorities.
- Define and articulate a clear technology vision that integrates global standards with market-specific needs.
- Act as the primary technology representative in business planning and strategic decision-making.
Technology Delivery & Optimization
- Oversee the successful deployment, testing, localization, and support of enterprise and operational technologies.
- Ensure consistent implementation of global platforms while deploying tailored solutions when necessary.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution evaluation, and technology selection to ensure long-term fit and sustainability.
- Promote best practices in IT operations, emphasizing cost efficiency, performance, security, and compliance.
People & Performance Management
- Build and retain a high-performing, agile technology team through talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities that align with current and future business needs.
- Cultivate a results-driven culture that supports innovation and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight
- Own and manage the Technology department's operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Ensure responsible financial management through cost control, chargebacks, and ROI analysis.
- Partner with Finance and Global teams to align resources with annual roadmaps and strategic priorities.
Governance & Prioritization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize technology initiatives based on strategic impact and resource capacity.
- Oversee effective governance across project execution, vendor relationships, and resource management.
- Lead procurement and sourcing processes, ensuring thorough evaluation and robust business cases.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Foster open communication with business leaders, global teams, and external partners.
- Present market technology strategies, performance metrics, and value creation to senior stakeholders.
- Guide change management processes to drive user adoption and readiness across all levels of the organization.

- Expertise in delivering complex technology programs and vendor management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
