Technico-Commercial – Offset Printing Solutions (Sales & Technical Service)

This role is primarily commercial, focused on advising customers on offset consumables and solutions, while maintaining sufficient technical knowledge to support basic troubleshooting and after-sales coordination.

The successful candidate will interact daily with printers, press operators, and production managers, helping them select the right products to ensure print quality, consistency, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

• Manage day-to-day sales of offset printing consumables

• Provide indoor / counter sales support to walk-in customers

• Advise clients on the selection and use of offset consumables
  (inks, plates, blankets, chemicals, rollers, pressroom supplies)

• Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on deliveries

• Support field sales activities when required

Customer Relationship & After-Sales

• Act as a key contact point for customers’ consumable needs

• Answer technical questions related to consumable usage and compatibility

• Coordinate with the technical service team for issues beyond basic support

• Follow up on customer satisfaction and recurring orders

• Maintain accurate customer and sales records

Product & Stock Knowledge

• Maintain strong product knowledge of offset consumables and pressroom materials

• Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying fast-moving items

• Provide feedback from customers on product performance and market needs

• Participate in supplier and product training sessions

Commercial Administration

• Support order processing, invoicing, and basic sales reporting

• Ensure pricing and commercial conditions are applied correctly

• Contribute to upselling and cross-selling of related products

Required Profile

Education & Experience

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Printing, Graphic Arts, or related field

• 2–5 years’ experience in offset printing, pressroom operations, or consumables sales

• Hands-on knowledge of offset press consumables is essential

Technical & Product Knowledge

• Good understanding of offset printing processes

• Strong knowledge of consumables:
  inks, plates, blankets, fountain solutions, wash-up chemicals, rollers, etc.

• Ability to explain products clearly to operators and production staff

• Customer-oriented and service-minded

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Organized and comfortable with counter-based sales activity
