Main responsibilities
•The job incumbent will lead and inspire a team of technical specialists across multiple service areas.
•Oversee daily technical operations while aligning team efforts with strategic departmental goals
•Conduct regular site inspections and ensure tasks are prioritized and resolved efficiently.
•Work closely with the Business Units operations’ team to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
•Manage workforce planning and team performance
•Optimize procurement of materials and tools within budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards governing hotel maintenance operations.
•Drive the use of digital tools, including CMMS software and IoT technologies, to improve maintenance efficiency, tracking, and reporting
•Remain responsive to urgent maintenance needs, including emergency situations during week-ends or public holidays.
Qualifications and profile
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
•Minimum 3 years ‘experience in a managerial position or leadership role
•Proven ability to manage technical teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach.
•Strong organizational and project management skills
•Able to perform under pressure, multitask, and respond effectively in critical situations.
•Ability to develop and implement best practices and troubleshooting guidelines.
•Ability to drive innovation in technical services operations through digital tools.
