Technical Draughtsman

• To provides a day to day planning to subordinates to meet customer (internal and external) requirements as per established guidelines; • To execute working drawings: Layouts, Longitudinal Sections, Cross sections, Typical Sections; ;

• • To calculate the quantities which define project schedules 
     and project organization
• To verify the implementation of the project with Topographical Surveyor Team.
• To ensure compliance with technical rules and standards.
• To edit, make amendments and re-issue drawings as required by site or consultant or client.
• To print drawings and keep a drawing register for issue to consultant / client for approval and or site for construction.
• To monitor and verify of drawings developed by draughtsman and transmission of plans to clients
• To drive the project design, organize and ensure technical teams meet deadlines.
• To approve drawings with internal and external customers (Site Engineer, Site Manager, Consultants)
• To make presentation of the working drawing project to the site people and to finalize on the work method.
• To control and verify quantities of materials as per construction/working drawings with Site Team prior to approval received from Consultants and Clients;
• To submit monthly progress report to Management (Head of Design Office);
• Is responsible for design of projects for civil and building (it involves carrying out preliminary study at tendering stage of project and follow up on design works and preparation of working drawings for execution of works)
• To supervise all aspects of work undertaken by the design team on site
• To do take off from drawings and prepare bill of quantity for costs estimates

          To liaise with site people, Site Engineers, Project Managers, Contract Managers, Site

          Managers, Site Agents, Clients and Consultants.

• To coordinate with Topographical Surveyor Team (Senior Land Surveyors / Land Surveyors) and Draughtsman for analysis of findings.
• To liaise with execution/site team to ensure coordination with Consultants and Clients with regards to dimensions and design for construction are all as per drawings and  to seek approval prior to execution of works
• To ensure coordination between the site team for Interim Payment Application and for Final Accounts
• To coordinate with the Estimating Team for tender drawings and quantities
• To coordinate with Topographical Surveyor Team and ensure surveys carried out and meet the requirements of the design projects.
• To liaise with execution team to ensure dimensions and design for construction are all as per drawings.
