Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the Health Insurance team to ensure high-quality service delivery across claims administration, policy servicing and renewals.
- Lead and manage the renewal process for health insurance clients with particular focus on large and key corporate accounts.
- Actively contribute to sales and business development activities, including the acquisition of new health insurance business.
- Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, benefit comparisons, and presentations for prospective and existing clients.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations alongside senior management and sales teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, insurers and other key stakeholders.
- Review complex cases and escalated medical claims and provide technical guidance.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and service quality standards
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, insurer requirements and regulatory obligations
- Prepare management reports on renewals, new business acquisition, portfolio performance, retention, and claims trends.
- Review and validate policy and claims documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Insurance, Business, or related field or (Cert CII in Progress would be an advantage)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position
- Strong technical knowledge of health insurance products, underwriting, renewals and corporate schemes.
- Demonstrated involvement in sales support, corporate renewals, and new business acquisition
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Excellent analytical skills and multi-tasking abilities
