Our client, MFD is recruiting a Systems Analyst

Overview:

The Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing the company systems, processes, and requirements to design and implement effective IT solutions. The latter needs to have a strong understanding of both business and technical aspects, with the ability to translate user needs into technical specifications.

 Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Gather and document user requirements through interviews, surveys, and workshops with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation to communicate system design and functionality.
  • Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and other IT professionals to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed system enhancements or new technology investments.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure that solutions meet requirements and performance standards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on implemented systems and applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and design.
  • Communications Skills to work with local and international solutions and services providers and partners. Report on works assignments / work statuses and follow-up on helpdesk tickets on time;
  • Any other cognate duties, instructions as may be given by the hierarchy.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in modeling techniques and tools such as UML, BPMN, or ER diagrams.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and web technologies such as Python, HTML5, PHP, React, C Sharp.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in systems analysis or related fields is a plus
