Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally. You will support both land and marine surveying activities in the field and office, assisting in the collection, processing, and analysis of geospatial data for various projects, including cadastral, topographic, hydrographic, and engineering construction surveys.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Land Surveyor in conducting field and marine surveys using GNSS receivers, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
- Help establish survey control, set survey markers, and gather accurate field data.
- Draft base plans and survey deliverables using CAD and/or GIS software.
- Prepare land survey reports, PIN application plans, and site plans for land sales.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and calibration of Trimble survey equipment.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with surveying standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the survey team, clients, and stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as required in support of land and marine survey operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma (or currently enrolled) in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in land, marine, or construction surveying (fresh graduates welcome).
- Proficiency with survey instruments (e.g., GNSS systems, total stations).
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS software is an asset.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies and grow professionally.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable to work outdoors.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Self-motivated with a positive, proactive mindset.
- Potential to develop leadership capabilities over time.
Working Conditions
