Oversee demand planning, ordering, supplier coordination, inventory, and warehousing to support efficient FMCG distribution, while ensuring process improvement, compliance, and cost control.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly Demand Planning process to ensure that orders are placed every month and stock is maintained as per company policy.
- To verify all documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading etc.) and liaise with Broker to clear the goods from Port / Airport.
- Coordinate with all local regulatory bodies like MRA, MOH, NAPRO etc. to obtain the necessary licenses and releases to clear consignments from port / airport.
- To plan all the logistics activities by liaising with the Broker, Transport Contractor, and Warehouse Team for the reception of goods.
- Ensure proper tracking of stock level and incoming consignments to ensure that there is no OOS.
- To raise any risk of OOS to management for appropriate actions to be taken.
- Ensure all the procedures with regards to stock handling, storage and First Expire First Out (FEFO) methodology are followed.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- To be the main point of contact for suppliers for orders or any communication requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain activities and performance metrics.
- To be the main point of contact to address and resolve any issues related to supply chain operations, such as delays or quality concerns.
- To work closely with internal and external stakeholders and maintain a good working relationship with them to align supply chain strategies with company goals.
- Assist in identifying innovative and effective actions and decisions to reduce cost ensuring that the Company does not exceed the budgeted cost for Supply Chain due to ineffectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in an FMCG environment.
Knowledge & Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Power BI.
