The role

The Supplier Enablement Specialist is responsible for onboarding, enabling, and supporting suppliers across Coupa enablement channels, including the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP), cXML, and the Coupa Supplier Actionable Notifications (SAN) network. This role drives supplier adoption of automated invoicing solutions and ensures suppliers are enabled on the appropriate channel based on volume, complexity, and procurement strategy.

Success in this role is measured by supplier connectivity, active electronic invoicing adoption (CSP and cXML), effective SAN usage where other options are not viable, and the timely resolution of supplier inquiries related to Coupa setup. The role partners closely with procurement category managers, buyers, and stakeholders to embed supplier enablement early in the procurement lifecycle.

Supplier Support & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries related to Coupa setup, access, and invoicing
  • Troubleshoot CSP, cXML, and SAN-related issues, escalating technical matters as needed
  • Maintain clear communication with suppliers throughout issue resolution to ensure timely outcomes

Enablement, Training & White-Glove Support

  • Deliver virtual supplier trainings covering CSP, cXML, and SAN processes
  • Develop and maintain enablement materials, including videos, job aids, and FAQs
  • Provide white-glove onboarding and personalized support for strategic and high-impact suppliers

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Metrics

  • Partner with buyers and category managers to introduce supplier enablement early in sourcing and procurement activities
  • Track and report on supplier adoption metrics, including:
  • CSP and cXML connectivity
  • Active electronic invoicing
  • SAN usage where applicable
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve supplier experience and automation rates
  •
