Supervisor- Workshop Department

To ensure the smooth running of the workshop in order to achieve a high level of service delivery with a minimal downtime of equipment

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Planning of activities/ resources to ensure optimal workload in order to achieve maximum efficiency
• Set up and implement processes to ensure that works are done as per norms and standards (Manufacturers' Standard Time) that have been pre-determined in terms of quality, cost and delivery time
• Ensure compliance to OSH procedures & legislations and assist in the implementation of projects/initiatives within areas of responsibility
• To make purchase requisitions and ensure normal procedures are being followed
• To ensure repairs at the machine and equipment suppliers are being done properly
• To ensure that all plant equipment are being properly operated
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Management
•  Any other cognate duties as may be required or assigned
