Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, in accordance with the SOPs.
- Welcome guests and identify their coffee preferences and needs
- Promote and sell coffee, brewing equipment, and accessories by explaining product differences
- Demonstrate brewing equipment operation to guests
- Prepare espresso-based drinks following standard recipes and presentation
- Maintain consistent drink quality and ensure excellent guest experience
- Replenish coffee beans, pastries, and other bar stock as needed
- Conduct daily inventory checks and update stock records
- Perform regular maintenance checks; report any issues to the Bar Manager
- Clean and maintain all equipment daily
- Follow food safety standards, including temperature control and product labelling
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Manage guest orders, process payments, and handle tills accurately
- Minimise product wastage and record any material breakages
- Order stock based on business levels and par requirements
- Ensure menus are up to date and in good condition
- Keep the work area organised and aligned with operational efficiency
- Support overall team with a flexible and dynamic approach
