Our client in the financial sector is seeking to recruit a Supervising Officer- Business Development who will assist the Management Team to enhance the capabilities of Distribution Channels and generate Life new businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Devise sales and marketing plans to generate new Life insurance businesses.
- Assist in strengthening the distribution capabilities of the Life department.
- Meet Sales target for new business and set sales targets for intermediaries and monitor sales performances.
- Provide training/coaching/assistance to intermediaries/staff to help them achieve their respective sales target.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of Distribution Channels.
- Assist in recruitment of intermediaries and devise and run sales incentives scheme for intermediaries.
- Organize meetings and events involving intermediaries.
- Prepare reports.
Profiles:
- Either a Diploma in CII or a bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 4 years' working experience in Channel Management / business development within the financial services sector (preferably in Life Insurance).
- Possess a good knowledge of business development and Distribution Channels in Financial Services sector.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical, time management and leadership skills.
- Possess a very good knowledge of IT software used in Financial Services sector.
