Storekeeper

The Storekeeper has the main responsibility to assist the Chief Storekeeper/Assistant Chief Storekeeper through daily assigned tasks to ensure inventory is well maintained and there is proper control.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for task outside the scope of work described.

• To ensure the company’s inventories are properly safeguarded and controlled against any kinds of loss.
• To ensure proper Physical Receiving and Requisition is done for ordered items. Proper matching with Purchase Orders and Requisition Sheet.
• To ensure theoretically receiving and requisition is properly captured in the Accounting Software (Prolific).
• To ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• To attend regular planned trainings.
• To work in close collaboration with other Store team members.
• To keep proper temperature records of Cold Rooms/Chill Rooms.
• To participate in Monthly/ Quaterley/ Yearly Stock take exercise.
• To participate in receiving of Wine consignments.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Storekeeper/Assistant Chief Storekeeper.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Qualification:

• Middle or Secondary Education + Additional  training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel industry as Storekeeper/Store Attendant
• Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.

Technical skills:

• Orderly and meticulous individual.
• Computer Literate.
• Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
