Job Position : Store Clerk

To assist the Storekeeper in the effective discharge of the store duties

Key Responsibilities

v  Process delivery note of stock items on the Accounting System

v  Assist in checking the quality of products received and delivered

v  Assist in regular physical inventory by counting stock

v  Attend to customers’ queries and needs

v  Ensure that all products are stacked properly as per instructions  

v  Ensure that the store and all related areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

v  Participate in stock take

v  Follow Health & Safety requirements

v  Be well groomed and wears his Personal Protective Equipment when required

v  Participates in all drills and risk assessment exercises.

v  Monitor attendance of store men and drivers

v  Any cognate duties

Qualifications

v  School Certificate or equivalent     

v  Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment.

v  Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.

v  Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.

v  Skills to operate common office equipment and computer literate.

v  Ability to work under pressure and team oriented.
