Customer Service & Communication:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, inquiries related to appointments, billing, and other clinic services.
  • Communicate with patients regarding their billing status, insurance coverage, and payment options.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring minimal wait times and a positive patient experience.

Admission Duties:

  • Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance, and medical history.
  • Ensure patients complete necessary forms (e.g., consent forms, insurance verification forms) before receiving services.

  • Enter patient data into the clinic’s database maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patients are properly prepared for their appointments or procedures.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of patient files and records.

Invoicing and Billing:

  • Prepare detailed bills and provide cost estimates to patients prior to or at the time of service.

  • Assist inquiries regarding billing and payments.
  • Handle all cashier-related duties, including collecting payments
  • Issue receipts for payments made and maintain an accurate cash register.
  • Track outstanding balances and follow up with patients for payment arrangements if necessary.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments to the clinic’s financial system.

Candidates will work on rotating shifts between reception and billing duties on a scheduled basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Ability to work under pressure and in a customer-focused environment.

Flexibility and reliability are key to success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
    • Experience with billing, invoicing, and cashiering tasks, particularly in a healthcare environment, is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Candidates must be highly fluent in French, possess strong communication skills, and have a good command of English.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
