HealthActiv is currently looking for a Stock Controller responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient stock management across its warehouse and retail outlets.
HealthActiv is currently looking for a Stock Controller responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient stock management across its warehouse and retail outlets. The role involves maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, upholding compliance with pharmaceutical standards, and supporting the sales and distribution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory control through regular stock counts, monitoring of inventory levels and enforcement of FIFO practices within the ERP system.
- Generate variance reports, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions for identified stock issues.
- Maintain accurate ERP inventory records, process stock adjustments, and ensure proper reconciliation and audit documentation.
- Monitor aging and expired stock, support product recalls and quality investigations in line with pharmacy regulations.
- Provide regular stock reports and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address stock-related requirements.
- Drive stock optimisation by proposing improvements, conducting audits and ensuring procedural compliance.
- Conduct perpetual and year-end stock takes to ensure accurate inventory records and compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure strong collaboration and control with operational teams to oversee the receipt, processing and dispatch of stock in an effectively controlled environment.
- Perform periodic reviews of the entire stock cycle to ensure the proper valuation, custodianship, insurance coverage and disposal of various stock categories at all times.
Job Requirements
- Either Degree Holder in Logistics, Supply Chain or Pharmacy, or a Second Level ACCA.
- Minimum 5 Years in stock or inventory control, preferably within the FMCG, pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
- Holder of a valid driving license (private car or goods vehicle) will be an advantage.
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, solid organisational and leadership skills and ability to prioritise work.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email, with experience using ERP systems.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Capacity to easily adapt to changes.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
