Steward Supervisor

Responsibilities: Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services. Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories. Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient.

• Supervise the stewarding team.
• Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services.
• Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories.
• Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient. 
• Assist the Back of House Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed.
• Ensure stewarding staff have supplies, equipment, tools and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
• Ensure that the Hotel operates in accordance with quality systems in place, health and safety standards, regulatory and legislative requirements
• Any other cognate duties assigned 

EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years experience in a similar position
• Flexible with strong organisational and planning skills
• Good communication skills
