The Steward will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operations in the kitchen and dining areas, supporting the culinary and service teams in delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and workstations
- Assist in waste disposal following hygiene and safety protocols
- Restock clean items in designated areas
- Support chefs and service staff during food preparation and service
- Receive and store deliveries as needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks and assist with special requests
Competencies required:
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety (HACCP preferred)
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
