Job Description
Sourcing Associate
We are looking for a Sourcing Associate to support customer and sales requests by sourcing non‑catalog products from external suppliers and managing quotations and orders. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, sales teams, and internal functions to ensure accurate pricing, timely delivery, and high data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer product requirements and source non‑catalog / third‑party products based on product codes, descriptions, and applications.
- Request and negotiate supplier quotations, including pricing, discounts, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and provide customer quotations through SAP in line with company pricing policies.
- Process customer orders for Market Source and third‑party products using SAP.
- Liaise with external sales teams to support customer inquiries related to third‑party products.
- Identify, review, and validate product cross‑references using system data, competitor information, and manufacturer part numbers.
- Collaborate with the Cross‑Reference team to ensure all validated cross‑references are accurately maintained in the system.
- Enhance quotes and bids with clear product descriptions, images, and relevant supporting information.
- Maintain accurate Product Master Data and resolve data‑related issues internally.
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time while following departmental standards, procedures, and project guidelines.
- Support special projects and additional business requirements as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably within a multinational company.
- Supply chain or supplier‑facing experience is an advantage.
- Non‑Life Science background preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access knowledge is a plus.
- Comfortable working with business systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
- Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work shifts if required.
