We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Solutions Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on French accounting systems. The successful candidate will be pivotal in improving processes, designing, and developing applications, deploying solutions, and ensuring the quality and security of information systems.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting framework.
  • Develop robust applications and solutions tailored to the needs of individual and collective insurance products, including life, health, and pension insurance schemes.
  • Ensure secure deployment of these solutions, managing the end-to-end accounting flows, and supervising bus accounting systems.
  • Provide effective communication channels and change support throughout the project lifecycle, alongside risk and problem management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data security and quality management in IT services.
  • Lead in the agile methodology, maintaining technological vigilance to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Navigate fluently between accounting principles, insurance fundamentals, and French accounting regulations.
  • Utilize tools such as Service Now, PowerShell, JIRA, CONFLUENCE, and JIRA, XRay to manage projects, client requests, and reporting.
  • Master MAINFRAME processes and SAS language for database interaction and complex query handling.
Skills and Capabilities
  • Proficiency in both French and English languages is essential.
  • Proven experience in application conception and IT service delivery within a French accounting context.
  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance sector, specifically individual and collective person insurance, pension schemes, and property insurance (IARD).
  • Strong understanding of accounting flows, bus support, and the capacity to oversee accounting operations from beginning to end.
  • Familiarity with MAINFRAME languages and processes, SAS programming, and database access.
  • Competency in software such as Service Now, PowerShell, JIRA, and CONFLUENCE.
  • Ability to estimate client demands and manage project steering, communication, and reporting effectively.
  • Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Desirable Attributes
  • Certifications in Agile methodology and related IT services.
  • Previous experience in business analysis or system integration in an insurance or financial services environment.
