Job Overview:
Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies designed to increase engagement, grow our audience, and strengthen brand reputation across multiple platforms.
Coordinate and support the planning, preparation, hosting, and reporting of community activities and digital events.
Create compelling, platform-specific content (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter/X) that resonates with target audiences, while actively monitoring performance metrics to ensure goals are achieved.
Use insights and analytics to refine strategies, identify new opportunities, and remain ahead of emerging industry trends.
Stay informed on platform updates, policies, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to maintain compliance and optimize current operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Support
- Assist in implementing social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Help maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting in line with campaigns and brand objectives.
- Support daily posting, scheduling, and engagement activities to keep a strong brand presence online.
- Manage tournaments from start to finish, including updating terms & conditions, selecting winners, crediting prizes in the back office, and communicating with winners through the inbox.
2. Content Creation and Curation
- Work with the Marketing and Design teams to create engaging content such as graphics, short videos, and captions.
- Write platform-specific copy that connects with audiences and reflects the brand voice.
- Help source and share relevant third-party content to complement our own.
3. Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms to foster a positive, interactive online community.
- Build and nurture relationships with followers and key industry influencers within the online gambling sector.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating social media campaigns to support launches, promotions, and events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to make sure social media activities support broader business goals.
- Support the execution of paid social campaigns under guidance from senior team members.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, etc.) using platform insights and tools.
- Help prepare reports that demonstrate and/or summarize key results for campaigns and posts.
- Share observations to help improve content and strategy.
6. Trends and Innovation
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Experiment with new content formats and platform features to boost engagement and audience interaction.
- Learn about platform updates and how they may affect our activities.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
- Contribute ideas in team meetings and support colleagues when needed.
- Take initiative to learn and grow within the role.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field .
- A minimum of 3 years in similar job position.
- Good experience in managing social media accounts (E.g. Academic, Freelance and Corporate).
- Experience in creating and managing social media content.
- Good understanding of major social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
Key Skills:
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese language proficiency is a plus).
- Creative thinking and storytelling abilities.
- Basic analytical skills with a willingness to learn how to use data for decision-making.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
