Are you an experienced logistics professional with a strong understanding of warehouse operations?
QBL is looking for a Senior Warehouse Executive to lead and optimize our warehouse functions, ensuring efficient inventory control, smooth dispatch, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and Stock Management
- Ensure accurate stock control of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and equipment across all sites.
- Monitor and minimize stock variances through cycle counts, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
- Implement and ensure strict adherence to FIFO and FEFO inventory management principles.
- Flag near-expiry or slow-moving items and coordinate action plans with relevant departments.
- Maintain up-to-date stock records and ensure ERP/system accuracy at all times.
Warehouse Operations & Best Practices
- Apply and standardize warehousing best practices, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all locations.
- Oversee receiving, storage, dispatch, and transfer activities in line with operational and quality procedures.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and communicate proactively with procurement and production planning teams.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP), hygiene protocols, and product traceability.
- Uphold health & safety regulations and security protocols to prevent accidents, loss, or contamination.
- Promote and enforce good housekeeping (5S) practices to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
Team and Resource Management
- Lead, train, and coach warehouse staff on warehousing standards, safety, and system procedures.
- Ensure adequate staffing based on volume and operational needs while optimizing labor efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and support the development of warehouse team capabilities.
- Collaborate with HR and management on recruitment, training, and manpower planning.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure all warehouse documentation (inbound, outbound, transfers, cycle counts) is accurate and up to date.
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock variances, expiry management, and warehouse KPIs.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and documentation.
System & Process Improvement
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Review, maintain, and update warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in WMS implementation or upgrades and support digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or store management, preferably in FMCG or food-related industries.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehousing principles, and ERP/WMS systems.
- Experience with HACCP, food safety, and health and safety standards.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
