Senior Technology Consultant - DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead infrastructure and deployment initiatives while driving automation, reliability, and DevOps best practices across the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES    

• Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Champion observability by enhancing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Strong grasp of networking, security, and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert).
• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR).
• Experience in high-availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
