Senior Storekeeper

Supervising the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensuring efficient management of inventory and logistics activities

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement efficient warehouse layout and storage practices to maximize space utilization.
• Lead and supervise a team of 20 persons, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures for the storage and handling of goods.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
• Coordinate with Counter sales team to optimize delivery schedules, streamline workflows and achieve operational excellence.
• Resolve any issues related to delivery, including customer inquiries and complaints.
• Monitor attendance of store men and ensure adherence to the Employee handbook.
• Conduct regular audits and physical inventory counts to reconcile.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in warehouse operations.
• Participate in strategic planning and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

 Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior warehouse or storekeeping role, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
