As a Senior Site Supervisor, you are the pivotal link between the office and the field. You will be the primary on-site leader responsible for hands-on coordination of teams, ensuring every phase of construction is executed safely, efficiently, and to the exact technical specifications provided by the Site Agent and Project Managers.
Direct Supervision: Oversee and monitor daily site operations to ensure seamless workflow and high productivity.
Technical Quality: Verify that all works—from foundation to finish—are carried out in strict accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Team & Subcontractor Lead: Coordinate internal labor, specialised subcontractors, and material suppliers to prevent bottlenecks.
Reporting & Control: Maintain rigorous site documentation, including detailed daily progress reports, accurate timesheets, and material usage logs.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify on-site technical or logistical challenges and implement immediate, practical solutions.
Safety Champion: Enforce all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, ensuring a zero-harm culture for all personnel on-site.
Quality Compliance: Assist in conducting routine inspections and snagging lists throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Senior Site Supervisor within a reputable construction company in Mauritius.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methods, material properties, and structural safety.
Drawing Proficiency: Highly proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts on the ground.
Mobility: A valid Mauritian driver’s license is essential for site-to-site mobility.
