We are a leading distributor of world-renowned brands in Mauritius, seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor Modern Trade or a Sales Manager to drive growth of our brands and execution in Modern Trade.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the sales / merchandising team & conduct performance reviews.
- Grow sales in Modern Trade by managing the key accounts and follow up with the sales team on daily/weekly visits
- Review Daily Sales Operations with the team
- Work on Listing of products and analysis of gaps in numerical distribution vs approved portfolio with client
- Work closely with the Marketing team for all trade activations and follow up.
- Build strong customer relationships and conduct business reviews with the clients.
- Ensure planogram compliance, follow up on activations, and promotional displays are followed.
- Oversee pricing, visibility materials, and brand standards in outlets.
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to help in strategies.
- Able to conduct Commercial agreements with smaller clients.
- Work closely with the Logistics and Supply Chain team to understand stock situation and delivery of th products in the trade.
- Prepare monthly sales presentation for management with ideas of growth.
Requirements:
Proven experience in the distribution sector in Mauritius.
Hands-on knowledge of the local market.
Background in managing DPH or Food categories preferred.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and brand management skills.
