A full-time Senior Project Manager role is available to oversee multiple property developments, including a 5-star hotel renovation and extension, as well as additional commercial and residential development projects. The position will lead projects through all six phases—Initiation, Design Development, Procurement & Tender, Construction, Commissioning, and Closure—combining hands-on construction expertise with strategic oversight and board-level reporting.
The Senior Project Manager will manage projects at both macro and technical levels, coordinating cross-functional teams of contractors, developers, designers, and specialist consultants to ensure key milestones are achieved. The role requires a balance of on-site and office-based work, including regular construction site visits to resolve technical challenges and monitor progress, as well as office-based responsibilities such as preparing clear and accurate development reports for owners.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with specifications
Lead site and technical coordination to resolve issues and maintain project schedules
Identify project risks and opportunities for design and construction improvements
Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure permits, approvals, and statutory compliance
Build and lead a small team of junior project coordinators
Ensure QA/QC processes and HSE compliance across all projects
Maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, progress reports, and project documentation
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare project briefs, manage client service realisation, and assess Technical Due Diligence reports
Generate and approve baseline programmes; monitor costs, resources, and procurement; and implement cost-control measures, including value engineering across all projects
Oversee the appointment and management of consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution
Chair senior-level progress meetings and produce clear reports and presentations for stakeholders

Ability to balance strategic, big-picture thinking with attention to detail to ensure project milestones are achieved
Proven experience in both Development Management and Project Management
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing international hotel or large-scale property developments, with a strong delivery track record
Experience in procurement strategy, fit-out packages, and specialist contractors (including AV, kitchen and laundry equipment, spa facilities, etc.), with working knowledge of JBCC and FIDIC contracts
Strong capabilities in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
In-depth knowledge of quality standards, health and safety regulations, and sustainable construction practices
Strong risk management skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills (English required; French and/or Creole advantageous)
The Senior Project Manager will be based on Mahé, Seychelles, with a mix of office-based work, remote work, and regular site visits. The role also requires spending a designated number of days each month on Praslin Island.
