Senior IT Officer

We are looking for a Senior IT Officer to oversee IT operations and provide expert support in managing and optimizing our information systems.

Business Data Integrator Ltd (BDI), a subsidiary of the Swiss multinational Probus Pleion Holding SA, based in Mauritius delivers tailor-made IT solutions to clients in wealth management, financial services, real estate, and consulting.We are looking for a Senior IT Officer to oversee IT operations and provide expert support in managing and optimizing our information systems.

What You Will Do

• Manage and support IT infrastructure to ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux systems.
• Manage updates and antivirus solutions across all devices.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist during IT audits.
• Oversee backups, data integrity, and network infrastructure.
• Document procedures and generate relevant reports.
• Provide guidance and support to the IT team.
• Lead and deliver IT projects assigned by management.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and compliance processes.
• Manage telephony systems (PABX and 3CX).
• Develop and maintain scripts for IT support and account management.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in IT or equivalent, with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking and IT security.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Solution-oriented, reliable and committed.

Bonus Skills & Attributes

• Experience with VMware, Citrix, Veeam.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
