Broll Property & Facility Management Ltd is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Accounts Officer.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Management Reports, for a portfolio of companies, in accordance with applicable laws & regulations and with organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records & financial data to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. This includes preparation of pivot tables and other summary sheets to analyze the accuracy of financial information in the most meaningful ways.
  • Assist FM with Financial enquiries received from clients and/or landlords.
  • Prepare, examine and review bank reconciliation reports. Finalize monthly bank reconciliation reports. Review the accuracy of petty cash schedules prepared by Clerks. Review accuracy of property management fees calculation prepared by Accounts Officer.
  • Prepare Debtors Journals and Receipt Journals for Broll PFM.
  • Review Debtors Report on an on-going basis. Follow ups are performed with receipts which are due & reports are updated with comments to reflect current position.
  • Review Creditors Report of Broll PFM. Assist FM with preparation of schedules in order to release cheques for signature.
  • Review weekly cheques' batch prepared by Accounts Officer. Ensuring no errors are made in regards to invoices capturing and cheques preparation.
  • Assisting Accounts Officer in their duties & with their enquiries in relation to invoices and cheques.
  • Manage cash flows of various companies. Prepare schedules & summaries and assist in releasing of cheques.
  • Preparing weekly Bank Reconciliation Reports. Review comments from Accounts Officer on outstanding cheques and complete bank reconciliation process.

Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and / or required by the employer


Qualifications Required:

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance (or ACCA level 2)
  • 3 or more years of previous accounting experience preferred.

Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviors):

  • Good knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures including account reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of related computer applications.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Good math and analytical skills.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
