Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations 
Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process
Manage tax filings, statutory reporting, and assist with regulatory compliance
Lead process improvements and contribute to internal control enhancements
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
