Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you’ll ensure safety, vehicle flow, and customer assistance while maintaining discipline and professionalism across our dealership and workshop.

Universal Motors Ltd is a leading automotive dealership in Mauritius representing several international vehicle brands. We sell new vehicles and provide comprehensive aftersales, maintenance, and diagnostic services through a team that values discipline, professionalism, and customer care.

We are recruiting a Security Officer to maintain safety, order, and professionalism at our dealership and service centre.

Beyond regular security duties, this role involves assisting customers, managing vehicle flow, and supporting light operational and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and record all vehicle and visitor entries and exits
• Direct customers and visitors to the correct parking and department
• Maintain yard and gate discipline during vehicle movements
• Conduct perimeter patrols and report safety or maintenance issues
• Ensure no vehicle leaves without authorization or job card
• Assist during customer deliveries and vehicle handovers
• Help keep the driveway and front area clean and orderly
• Support reception and admin teams with parcel handling, errands, or light coordination tasks
• Coordinate daily handovers with night security staff
