As a Scrum Facilitator, you will be responsible for guiding agile teams in adopting and practicing Scrum effectively. You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach team members on agile principles, and proactively remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
As a Scrum Facilitator, you will be responsible for guiding agile teams in adopting and practicing Scrum effectively. You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach team members on agile principles, and proactively remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery. Your role will include monitoring progress, reporting key metrics, and fostering collaboration among team members, product owners, and stakeholders. By promoting continuous improvement and resolving conflicts constructively, you will help cultivate a high-performing, self-organizing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure purposeful, timeboxed events.
- Coach & Mentor: Guide teams on Agile methodologies and principles and scrum practices.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate blockers related to process, tools, or team dynamics to optimize flow.
- Monitor & Report: Track team capacity, sprint progress, and performance metrics; provide status updates and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Enhance Collaboration: Foster open communication within the team and with product owners, stakeholders, and other groups.
- Resolve Conflict: Mediate discussions and foster constructive dialogue when differences arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Help the team identify opportunities, experiment with process enhancements, and measure progress.
Your skills & expertise:
- Agile & Scrum Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum.
- Facilitation Abilities: Skilled in running structured, engaging Scrum events and workshops and demonstrates empathy and active listening.
- Proficient in using Azure Devops, Jira or other tracking tools.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Metrics & Reporting: Experience tracking Agile KPIs and sprint capacity for transparency and planning.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating changing priorities and evolving team dynamics.
- Certifications Preferred: CSM, PSM, or equivalent Agile accreditation
